Yokohama tyres OE on Mercedes, BMW

Yokohama is supplying two premium German automakers with is Advan Sport V107 as an original equipment tyre.

The BMW X5 M and X6 M will be fitted with the Advan tyre in size 275/40R21 107Y front and size 315/35R21 111Y rear; while the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ will roll on size 275/35R22 104Y tyres.

Yokohama co-developed the Advan Sport V107 with BMW Group and Mercedes-AMG, respectively, in order to meet both carmaker’s highest technological standards.

In addition to maintaining the Advan Sport V105’s optimal balance of high driving performance combined with superior comfort and safety characteristics, Yokohama says the newly developed tyres also have received the EU labelling system’s highest “A” grade for wet performance.
