Yokohama and Continental to end their joint-venture Asian operation

Yokohama Rubber and Continental AG are to terminate their Asian joint venture company, Yokohama Continental Tire Co. (YCC) by the end of this month (March).

YCC was set up 14 years ago to help to meet the global original equipment procurement requirements of Japanese and Korean carmakers.

In the interim, Yokohama and Continental have been expanding their global production networks and the primary purpose of YCC has been achieved, explained their joint release.
