Yokohama Advan Sport V107 OE on Mercedes GLE 63 4Matic+ series
Mercedes-AMG has selected Yokohama’s Advan Sport V107 tyres as original equipment for two of its new GLE 63 models. The GLE 63 4Matic+ and the GLE 63 4Matic+ Coupe, which were both launched in Europe this March, will have the Advan Sport V107 fitted as standard.

The new models come equipped with 285/40ZR22 110Y size front tyres and 325/35ZR22 114Y size rear tyres or 275/50ZR20 113Y size tyres both for front and rears.
The Advan Sport V107 is a high-performance tyre developed by Yokohama primarily for use on high-power premium cars. The tyre improves upon the already excellent driving performance necessary for premium cars delivered by its predecessor, the Advan Sport V105, while maintaining the superior comfort and safety of the V105.
The tyres were jointly developed with Mercedes-AMG and bear the automaker’s ‘MO1’ mark of approval on the tyre sidewall.

Under its medium-term management plan, ‘Grand Design 2020’ (GD2020), Yokohama says it has expanded its presence in the premium tyre markets, a core goal for its consumer tyre business. Yokohama also states that it plans on having more of its tyres as OE on premium cars globally.
