Upgraded Goodyear CheckPoint solution unveils new features
The latest version of Goodyear’s CheckPoint drive-over tyre inspection solution has been introduced, and brings with it new features and an enhanced technology for tread depth reading that expand its value beyond traditional tyre management.
According to Goodyear, the updated system extends the possibilities of both transport operators and service partners in growing their business and improving operational efficiency.

At IAA Transportation 2024, Goodyear revealed improvements such as a modular tread depth sensor and advanced optical technology for increased robustness, precision and serviceability. Building on that foundation, the new updates in Goodyear CheckPoint further support proactive and preventative maintenance, service promotion, and efficient workshop operations.
Goodyear CheckPoint is now equipped with new features designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer interaction, and unlock new business opportunities.
Live Display (Goodyear FleetHub): Display easily latest tyre measurements on any connected external display in a new simplified layout tailored for workshop use. This new feature, available in the Goodyear FleetHub Web Application, allows technicians to immediately see which actions to be taken and dealers to convert traffic into potential prospects. Customers or prospects have the option to easily access the result screen data on their phone by simple scanning the QR code. Ideal for quick insights at service bays or customers counters.
Unregistered vehicle detection: Goodyear CheckPoint now enables users to monitor tyre condition of vehicles not yet registered in their Goodyear FleetHub application and outside customer’s network. This creates new opportunities for dealers, service providers, and transport operators to engage passing traffic, promote services, and showcase the system’s value to prospective customers—extending CheckPoint’s role beyond routine fleet monitoring.
Fleet Overview Report: A new fleet-level report provides users with a detailed overview of tyre conditions, per vehicle, axle and wheel position. Thorough tire monitoring insights help customers make data-driven decisions, develop their own KPIs, and implement more structured planning to support efficient operations.
Goodyear CheckPoint is fully integrated with Goodyear FleetHub, DriverHub and FleetOnlineSolutions applications, ensuring instant access to alerts, reports, and historical data.
“With this enhanced version which combines important hardware and software implementations, we are building on a concept we introduced last year—broadening the application of Goodyear CheckPoint beyond fleets, we are extending the application opportunities,” said Patricia Azzoni, product manager at Goodyear.
“Dealers and service providers now have even more tools to enhance their daily operations and use instant data as a way to differentiate their service and attract new customers.”
