Triangle Tyre earns first EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability

Triangle Tyre, represented in Ireland by Euro Tyre Sales, has earned a EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability at the first attempt.

With an “outstanding sustainability performance score of 81 points”, Triangle Tyre earned the Gold Medal, ranking in the top five per cent of participating companies, and becoming the first Chinese tyre manufacturer to earn this international recognition.

It was the first time Triangle Tyre participated in the EcoVadis assessment, a globally recognised performance evaluation criterion for corporate sustainability, covering environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

In the environmental domain, Triangle Tyre actively implements green design, green processes, and green manufacturing, focusing on the development of low rolling resistance tyres and building a green circular industry chain.

The company also invests heavily in environmental facilities. By introducing the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) system, it has continuously reduced the environmental impact of products from the acquisition of the raw materials, production, usage, scraping, to recycling.
