Triangle Group celebrates 40th anniversary

The Triangle Group has held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary and to launch future strategies.

Over 600 people from more than 100 countries attended the ceremony, including the company’s strategic partners and business friends from all over the world.

All the participants spoke highly of the achievements Triangle Group has made over the past 40 years, and gave full affirmation to the company’s win-win development philosophy.

Triangle Group, located in Weihai city, Shandong province, China, was established in 1976. In the intervening years the company has developed a fine reputation in the tyre industry with products in the commercial tyre, passenger tyre, bias OTR tyre and the radial OTR tyre sectors achieving world-wide recognition.

The Triangle Group has shown sustainable development, since its establishment in 1976, and is the largest tyre manufacturer and tyre exporter in China and the fourth largest OTR manufacturer in the world, producing more than 200,000 OTR units annually.

Triangle has also expanded its export division, supplying more than 250 countries worldwide. It’s Triangle’s aim to be ranked as one of the largest top 10 tyre manufacturers in the world in the very near future.

In 2008, Triangle’s “Jumbo OTR tyre manufacturing technology and equipment development project was awarded the national scientific development first-class prize, which is the greatest honour of the tyre industry in China.

Triangle has become one of the four biggest OTR and jumbo OTR tyre suppliers, and has established cooperation with machine manufacturers such as Caterpillar, TEREX, Doosan and Hyundai.

Triangle Tyre Co has received official product certifications from over 60 countries and economies, including CCC、ECE、DOT、ESOUND、INMETRO、LATU、GO、SNI, and has established strategic partnerships with companies such as Goodyear and Volvo after stringent performance tests.
