Toyo Tires releases Proxes CF2 SUV Rubber

Toyo Tires already has an impressive stable of off-road and SUV rubber, but its latest tyre release, the CF2 SUV, has been designed to cater for the burgeoning number of smaller crossover and compact SUV vehicles.

The CF2 features an all-new silica tread compound, which cleverly balances high levels of grip and reduced wet-weather braking distances with improved fuel economy.

The case deign itself also ticks all the boxes for owners looking to balance durability with ability. Four wide circumferential grooves offer superb resistance to aquaplaning, while the rib pattern on the CF2 SUV also contributes to its stability at speed, low noise and excellent uniformity under retardation.

A wide tread pattern gives great grip, while still managing to obtain a very respectable ‘C’ rolling resistance score. The jointless cap ply and high-hardness bead filler design also add to the tyre’s impressive wear rating, precise uniformity and linear steering response.

Available in sizes ranging from 175/80R15 90S through to 225/55R19 99V the Toyo CF2 SUV is bound to be a popular choice amongst discerning owners and a smart fitment for many popular SUV platforms.

Pricing has yet to be announced but will be in line with the rest of Toyo’s SUV ranges.
