Prinx Chengshan joins United Nations Global Compact
Prinx Chengshan Holdings Limited, the manufacturer of the Austone Tires brand, has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), marking its role as a key supporter of this global initiative.
According to Prinx Chengshan, which also produces the Prinx brand of EV tyres, this move not only underscores its commitment to sustainable development but also highlights its deep sense of social responsibility as a leading innovator in the tyre manufacturing industry.

By joining the UNGC, Prinx Chengshan says it is committed to actively practicing the UNGC’s 10 principles and leading the global tyre industry towards sustainable development, while also implementing a series of practical initiatives in areas such as human rights, labour standards, and environmental protection.
Green development is a core business strategy for Prinx Chengshan, with increased investment in green technology research and development, promoting the environmental upgrading of tyre products, reducing carbon emissions, and lowering energy consumption.
To this end, the company has set three long-term emission reduction goals, including a 27 per cent reduction in carbon emissions per tonne of product during tyre production (including retreading) by 2030 (compared to 2021 levels).
Additionally, it aims to more than triple its solar power generation by 2025 compared to 2021 levels and ensure that by 2025, low rolling resistance products will account for 45 per cent of commercial vehicle tyres and 50 per cent of passenger car tyres.
Moreover, Prinx Chengshan says it plans to strengthen communication and collaboration with partners to jointly promote sustainable development across the entire supply chain. The company will also actively participate in social welfare activities.
