Nokian WR D3 tops winter tyre test

Nokian’s WR D3 winter tyre pattern came out on top in winter tyre tests conducted by German motoring magazine, “auto motor und sport”, scoring a “highly recommended”

The WD DR3 scored top marks in picking up the “Best in Test” award and was “Highly Recommended” by the judges.

“Excellent performance on snow, short braking distance on dry surfaces, and balanced ride, ” was the assessment of the highly regarded “auto motor und sport” magazine.

The Nokian winter tyre also scored “highly recommended” in the 2012 winter tyre tests conducted by the German automobile association ADAC, the German motoring magazine “Auto Zeitung”, Car Club Europe ACE, ARBÖ (the Austrian association of motorists, motorcyclists, and cyclists), and GTÜ (the German technical inspection organisation), as well as “very good” from the German caravan magazine “pro mobil” and German fleet magazine “Firmenauto Transporter”.
