New VP B2C sales for Michelin Europe North region

Agostino Mazzocchi has been appointed Michelin’s new vice president B2C sales for the Europe North region.

Effective 1st October, Mazzocchi takes over from Theres Gosztonyi, who after three years in the position is moving on to a new role outside the Michelin Group.

In his new position, Michelin says Mazzocchi will be responsible for the passenger car, motorbike and bicycle business areas in the UK, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavia, and Switzerland.

He will work with the international teams to manage sales in the region and will report directly to the president of the Michelin region Europe North, Maria Röttger.

Commenting on his new role, Mazzocchi said: “Together with my team, I intend to be very close to the markets, further strengthen our customer relationships and simplify processes so we can always meet customer requirements.

“Our aim is to further expand our market share of the premium segment.”
