Michelin Training Centre confirms Brityrex participation

One of the tyre industry’s leading training providers is returning to Brityrex International 2014 to promote the powerful message that well-trained staff play a vital role in the commercial success and development of any business.

Michelin Training Centre (MTC) is following up its first visit to the show in 2012 with another high visibility presence, which will include crowd-pulling appearances from Bibendum, the company’s ubiquitous Michelin Man trademark.

Training centre manager Charly Bailey, explains: “We will be promoting our wide range of training courses covering all aspects of the tyre business, from practical fitting courses to sales and management training. It’s important to stress that our services are available to anyone in the industry and are not limited to our parent company or its associated businesses.

“Our trainers will be available throughout the event to provide detailed information on specific courses and to highlight how training can help develop businesses, increase sales and showcase the professionalism of staff when dealing with customers, either face-to-face or on the telephone.”

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, just off Junction 15 of the M6, MTC has a dedicated training facility with state-of-the-art lecture rooms and workshops. It also provides a wide range of equipment, including a truck for CV courses, practical fitting and repair equipment and dedicated role-play facilities for sales-based courses. MTC trainers also deliver courses at customers’ sites, tailored to individual requirements.

MTC will be exhibiting on Stand number 27, Hall 4 at Brityrex and show visitors are encouraged to drop in for practical demonstrations and professional advice about their training needs.

Michelin training covers all areas of the tyre industry and beyond. Technical courses cover agricultural, earthmover, industrial, car, truck and motorcycle tyres and the company offers modules for sales (retail and B to B), customer service, management and other related subjects.

Entry to Brityrex and its Tyre Talk programme of seminars is free of charge to bona fide members of the tyre and garage equipment trade. To guarantee hassle-free, no-waiting entry to the show, visitors can now pre-register online at www.eci-international.com
