Infinity’s new driver aims for the top!

Acorn Infinity Motorsport has captured the signature of Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni to drive for the drifting team in 2013. Steve has moved to A.I.M. after a successful four year period with Team Japspeed and is extremely excited about his future racing prospects.

Speaking after his signing Baggsy said: “I am very grateful for the faith and commitment Acorn Infinity Motorsport have already shown me and I have every confidence that the team will do all they can to provide me with the vehicle and the support required to achieve success in the future. They are clearly set up to grow and evolve into an even stronger team and I am looking forward to this fresh challenge”. Baggsy also spoke highly of his previous drifting experience. “The team at Japspeed could not have done any more for me in my time there and I will always look back on my time with them with great affection. They showed great faith in me and I hope my performances and commitment to them during my time there were appreciated”.

Both Acorn Insurance and Infinity Tyres have been instrumental in the capture of Baggsy’s signature and their respective spokespersons commented: “Capturing Baggsy’s signature in only our second year of existence goes to show how far the team have come in such a short space of time. Formed in late 2011, Acorn Infinity Motorsport has constantly strived to be the very best and has seen its efforts rewarded with several podium finishes with the team eventually finishing fourth in the 2012 British Drift Championship Constructors table.

The 2013 season will see Acorn Infinity Motorsport raise the bar higher yet again in announcing a four car driver line up. Founding members Mark Lappage in his iconic S13 and Ian Waddington with his highly anticipated S13 will be back – bigger, better and faster than ever – alongside Martyn Lowe, the new academy driver with high hopes in the semi-pro class.
