Goodyear Dunlop truck brands sweep the board in Austria

The members of the Association of Austrian Tyre Specialists (VRÖ) have voted Dunlop, Goodyear and Fulda in to first, second and third places in the truck category of the VRÖ Awards.

The VRÖ awards honour the tyre manufacturer for the most effective dealer support over the past two years. VRÖ chairman James Tennant presented the awards to the company at the VRÖ ‘Tyre Day’, which took place at the AutoZum exposition in Salzburg at gthe end of January 2015.

“We are delighted to win this triple award from the Austrian Tyre trade. The fact that Goodyear also reached number one in the truck category at the last VRÖ Awards in 2013, shows the long term satisfaction of our partners,” said Helmut Perner, Sales Manager Truck at Goodyear Dunlop Tyres Austria GmbH. “This is a collaborative success for all the truck teams and all the colleagues who constantly support us.”

The VRÖ Tyre industry awards take place every two years and are based on written surveys from members of the tyre dealer association. The evaluation criteria include product quality, delivery speed, the seller’s expertise, pricing policies and the availability of all tyre sizes. The Goodyear brand has previously won first place in the truck category at the last VRÖ Awards in 2013.
