Falken ZIEX ZE914 Ecorun Recommended

GTÜ (Gesellschaft für Technische Überwachung), Germany’s largest officially recognised inspection organisation and Autoclub Europa (ACE), one of the leading automobile clubs in Germany have conducted extensive summer tyre tests and have recommended the Falken ZIEX ZE914 Ecorun.

GTÜ and Autoclub Europa compared 16 summer tyres in the 195/65 R15 size and jointly conducted tests for safety on wet and dry surfaces along with fuel economy.

According to the test, the Falken ZIEX ZE914 Ecorun (Label: Fuel Efficiency – C, wet grip – B) delivered impressive results on dry surfaces while providing superb driving comfort and fuel economy. The summer tyre received its “recommended” rating by achieving an above-average environmental score at a low price to performance ratio.

“The test results and the recommendation are satisfying acknowledgments of our engineers’ hard work in the development of the Falken ZIEX ZE914 Ecorun,” says Markus Bögner, German Sales Director of Falken Tyre Europe GmbH. “Falken changed the composition of the compound in the ZE914 and combined it with a higher-silica content; this enabled our engineers to strike the perfect balance between driver safety and fuel efficiency.”
