Dunlop Winter Response 2 wins Which? Magazine tyre test

Which? Magazine  has named the Dunlop Winter Response 2 as a ‘Best Buy’ in its latest winter tyre test.

Renowned for its impartial reviews and expert advice, Which? magazine has released the results of its annual winter tyre test. Dunlop’s latest generation winter tyre test has beaten leading competitors to be named a ‘Which Best Buy’.

Testing a 175/65 R14T tyre to cover the compact car market, the experienced test team reviewed the Dunlop Winter Response 2 in wet, dry, ice, snow, noise and fuel economy to gain an understanding of performance in all types of winter weather. 

The Dunlop Winter Response 2 was described to be “good on all surfaces” to earn its ‘Best Buy’ accolade. 

The tyre performed particularly well in the wet road test, where the test team measured braking performance from 50mph to 12mph on wet asphalt. The Dunlop tyre stopped an impressive 8 metres shorter than the worst performing tyre in the test.
