Dunlop rebrands tyre retreads

Dunlop’s commercial vehicle tyre retreads, previously produced under the MultiTread name, are to be offered as TreadMax premium mold cure products. 

This means that latest generation truck tyre casings from both Goodyear and Dunlop can now be retreaded as TreadMax Goodyear and TreadMax Dunlop.

TreadMax tyres use the same tread patterns and have similar performance to the new tyres they replicate. The new extended TreadMax premium mold cure retread offer from Goodyear Dunlop will make fleets’ tyre choice even easier. The TreadMax range will now include all premium mold cure retreads from Goodyear Dunlop.  Previously, TreadMax retreads were only produced using Goodyear truck tyres with latest generation carcasses.  Now latest generation Dunlop tyres will also be retreaded under the TreadMax name.

The former MultiTread Dunlop mold cure retread range will now comprise; TreadMax Dunlop SP 444, TreadMax Dunlop SP 244, TreadMax Dunlop SP 372 and TreadMax Dunlop SP 472.  The TreadMax Dunlop retread products will feature new sidewall graphics that closely resemble the equivalent new tyre designs, with a TreadMax logo to differentiate them.

The extended TreadMax premium mold cure retread portfolio will cover the current Goodyear and Dunlop commercial vehicle tyre product ranges, including road haulage, mixed service, bus and coach tyres. This means it will now be easier for fleet operators to make their choice when selecting premium mold cure retreaded versions of Goodyear and Dunlop commercial vehicle tyres.  By using both the same materials and tread patterns as the tyres they replicate, TreadMax Goodyear and TreadMax Dunlop products offer similar performance to the equivalent new tyres.  By choosing TreadMax premium mold cure products, fleet operators can significantly reduce the Total Cost of Ownership for their tyres and optimize the cost per kilometre.

As well as the premium mold cure TreadMax retread offer for the latest Goodyear and Dunlop casings, the company will continue to offer its NextTread mold cure retreaded range featuring Goodyear and Dunlop tread patterns and utilizing both Goodyear and Dunlop casings as well as other selected casings.
