Davanti renews with AIA Racing School as official tyre partner
Davanti Tyres has extended its partnership with the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA) Racing School in Portimão, Portugal, a venue set to host Formula 1 in the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
The renewed three-year agreement commenced on 1st January 2026, which gives the tyre manufacturer access to AIA’s fleet of Racing School cars – to which Davanti’s Protoura Sport tyres are fitted – and its instructors.
Davanti now has the opportunity to access and host activities on the Racing School’s Gold Course, which features a series of challenging driving exercises designed to improve agility and vehicle control.

Davanti’s partnership with AIA was first established in 2017. As one of the most technically challenging race circuits in the world which plays host to the European LeMans Series and the FIM World Superbike Championship, as well as looking forward to Formula 1 in 2027 and 2028, it gives Davanti a unique opportunity to gain frequent feedback on their Protoura Sport tyre from driving professionals using the track.
Now, Davanti’s customers from around the world can experience the true capability of the tyres in an exhilarating branded track experience.
AIA Racing School director, Miguel Praia, said: “Our drivers are highly qualified professionals and they understand the importance of tyres as a safety feature. They have developed complete confidence in Davanti since we began this partnership, as tyres that handle well and provide all the feedback and control you need to drive safely and well. We are proud to partner with Davanti Tyres.”
Sean Maddocks, Davanti Tyres sales director for the UK & Ireland, said: “The AIA is one of our longest running partnerships, and over the years it has given us invaluable live feedback on our products which has undoubtedly contributed to the quality and the capability of the Protoura Sport tyre today.
“It has also allowed us to demonstrate the tyre to our valued customers in an exciting, premium track experience which has helped strengthen relationships and cement the product as a competitive player in the market.
“With the circuit also announcing its partnership with Formula 1 in the 2027 and 2028 seasons, it shows that as a racing venue, it really is one of the most renowned in the world.”
