Charity cycle in support of Northern Ireland hospice

A group of friends, with close connections to the tyre trade will be cycling from Mizen head to Malin head, September 6-9 in memory of the late Mary O’Connell and to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Hospice.

The charity cycle, which is being supported by Team Systems / Compilator has been organised by Seamus O’Connell of O’Connell’s Tre & Service Centre, Garvagh, Co. Derry who lost his mother, Mary O’Connell who sadly passed away on April 22 last year following a long battle with cancer.

“Unfortunately, we were able to see first-hand the care which was provided by the Northern Ireland Hospice in Mammy’s final weeks. We can only describe the support and specialist services given to both Mammy and the rest of our family as phenomenal,” Seamus explained.

“This incredible organisation offers help and support to patients and their families irrespective of personal circumstances absolutely free of charge. We ask that you support us in fundraising for this invaluable service to our community.”
