BKT inaugurates new tyre facility

BKT has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art tyre facility in Bhuj, India.

The new plant is located in Bhuj in the State of Gujarat, 100 kms from the Pakistani border and 60 km from the Port of Mundra on the Arabian Sea.

After the start of construction works in January 2011, an 8km pipeline for drinking water as well as 13 kilometers of electricity lines were laid.

The first tyre rolled off the production lines in March 2012. The entire project won’t be be completed until the end of 2016
