Uniroyal unveils two new tyres

Uniroyal – the ‘wet tyre’ maker  – has just unveiled two new tyres – the  Uniroyal Rainsport 3, a sports tyre which, the company says, through the use for the first time of ‘shark skin’ technology, brings the highest standard of wet-weather performance to summer tyres.

Also unveiled was Uniroyal’s new MS Plus 77 which, it said, offers additional safety on wet roads, snow and ice, high aquaplaning safety and short braking distances.

Both tyres will be available in a comprehensive range of sizes from October

Dozens of journalists from around Europe attended the event which was staged at the imposing Calatrava-designed Science Museum with testing at the local racetrack.
