Provisional liquidator appointed at Hanover Tyres Limited

Gerard Murphy, of Gerard Murphy & Co., 46 St. Mary’s Road, Midleton, Co. Cork, has been appointed Provisional Liquidator to Hanover Tyres Limited.

Established in Hanover Street, Cork in 1968 by the late Michael Foley, Hanover Tyres is a 100 per cent Irish owned, family run company that grew steadily to offer a complete nationwide service. Hanover Tyres is also the main Toyo importer for Ireland.

The High Court heard on June 21, a petition by Hanover Tyres Limited to have the company wound up in accordance with Article 3(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1346/2000.

The Petition will be heard on July 15 and any Creditor or Contributory of the Company who wishes to support or oppose the making of an Order on the Petition may appear at the time of the hearing,  by himself or his Counsel for that purpose and a copy of the Petition will be furnished to any Creditor or Contributory on payment of the regulated charge to the petitoner’s solicitors, James Riordan and Partners., 50 South Mall, Cork.
