Pitzone appointed Steelo distributor

Tyreshop equipment specialists, Pitzone has been appointed as agents for the Swedish made, Steelo range of shelving and racking.

Steelo’s “fixed” tyre rack enables operators to store tyres up to six levels high. Each level can hold eight or 16 tyres with the 2000 beam. The shorter 1000 mm beam takes or four or eight tyres per level. The beams are adjustable in 60 mm intervals. Beam securing is included to prevent the beam from lifting unintentionally.

Steelo’s “compact” tyre rack allows tyre retailers double as many tyres in the same space when compared to conventional tyre racks. The track is laid flat on the floor and the wagons are moved by means of a steering wheel and chain drive on all wheels. The tyre rack can store up to six levels. Each level can hold 16 tyres with the 2000 beam; the shorter 1000 mm beam takes eight tyres per level.

The company has also has a tyre racking system that allows tyre storage directly on pallets for car and truck tyres. The pallets can be folded together, when empty, and stacked 20 pieces on top of each other.
