New UK & Ireland MD at Kumho

Richard Lyons has been appointed as the new executive managing director of Kumho Tire UK & Ireland.

Lyons joins the Korean tyre maker after around seven years with Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS), where he was most recently its managing director for the UK and Ireland.

He also held the role of regional MD for East, South East Europe & Russia at TWS, as well as managing director for Trelleborg Industrial & Construction Tyres North Europe.

Before that, Lyons spent over a decade with Giti Tire, overseeing major growth at the firm to eventually becoming managing director Europe and director – international sales and marketing, passenger car.
