New Galaxy radial tyre for wheel loaders and dozers

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT) has launched the L5 Galaxy LDSR 500 off-road all-steel radial tyre for wheel loaders and dozers in size 23.5R25.

Particularly developed and constructed for off-road construction and off-road surface mining operations, this tubeless tyre comes with a non-directional pattern and an extra deep tread.

In conjunction with the premium cut resistant compound and the sturdy sidewall protector, the Galaxy LDSR 500 provides superior strength and endurance plus excellent stability during its long, reliable and productive service life, according to the manufacturer.

YOHT says the extra deep tread of the Galaxy LDSR 500 and the premium cut and chip resistant compound ensure an excellent performance in cut prone applications.

Furthermore, it adds that operators clearly benefit from the improved durability and the extended tyre life.

The high turn up carcass construction is said to provide an increased lateral stiffness and improved road comfort with stability and a buttress sidewall protection to protect against sidewall cuts and damages.

Last but not least, this all-steel radial tyre for dozers and wheel loaders comes with a shoulder tie-bar that provides better lug support and hence improved lug stability, YOHT states.
