The latest edition of the Tyre Trade Journal, Ireland’s publication for the tyre trade, is out now.

It features news of the European Parliament unveiling new tyre labelling rules, that will make tyre labels more visible, more accurate and more future proof.

Also in this issue, we look at why the UK government has banned tyres aged 10 years and older from lorries, buses and coaches on roads in England, Scotland and Wales.

Closer to home, BFGoodrich has appointed Kevin Burke Tyres (KBT) as its distribution partner in Ireland. KBT will stock a large selection of the world-renowned brand of tyres throughout the year in its large warehouse facility in Athenry, County Galway.

Meanwhile, following the lockdown period, the Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) has indicated there is positivity amongst its members with a view to a good return to business.
