ITIA plans member recruitment drive
The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) is set to embark on a recruitment drive with a series of regional meetings planned in the coming weeks.
The meetings will take place at various venues around the country in April and May with a view to increasing membership. ITIA President Kevin Farrell commented: “We have planned a series of 10 regional meetings in April and May this year. The aim of these meetings is to meet with members and to bring new members into the association.”
Farrell says the recruitment drive will help to increase the strength of the association. “By increasing the number of members in the ITIA, we will increase our strength as an Association. By bringing more of the legitimate tyre businesses into the ITIA we will increase our voice and speed up the progress we are making to bring regulation into our industry,” he said.
