GRI Tires hosts Italian distributor at Sri Lanka plant

In February, GRI Tires welcomed Magri Gomme, its national distributor for Italy, to its manufacturing facility in Colombo, Sri Lanka for an in-depth look at the technology, expertise, and processes behind GRI’s agricultural tyre production.

GRI Tires said the visit marked an important milestone in the partnership, reinforcing collaboration through open dialogue on market trends, customer expectations, and the future development of the Italian agricultural tyre market.

During the factory tour, the Magri Gomme team gained first-hand insight into the scale, precision, and attention to detail that define GRI’s manufacturing operations.

From raw material selection to finished products, the visit highlighted GRI’s strong focus on quality assurance, process control, and continuous improvement across every stage of production.

More than a manufacturing overview, GRI Tires said the visit strengthened a shared long-term vision built on trust, transparency, and a joint commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance tire solutions for Italian farmers and contractors.

GRI’s industrial tyres are represented in Ireland by First Industrial Tyres (FIT).
