COS Wholesale to expand Westlake key dealer network
Headford, Co. Galway based, COS Wholesale Ltd., is looking to expand its key dealer network on the island of Ireland for the Westlake range of truck and OTR tyres.
Following successful trials with a number of haulage and plant operators over the past two years, COS Wholesale is now ready to build its key dealer network across the country.
Similarly, Westlake’s range of OTR tyres have been very well received bythe plant operators that have trialled them.
Shane of COS Wholesale told the Tyre Trade Journal that Westlake’s range of truck and OTR tyres, which are manufactured in Thailand, have been very well received by hauliers looking for a reliable, durable tyre at competitive rates.
“The Westlake range of truck and OTR tyres has been available in (mainland) Europe for a number of years, so we already knew about the quality of the range. Successful trials here in Ireland over the past two years have confirmed the reliability of the range,” Shane added.
“Westlake is the sixth biggest tyre-maker in the world, so we are talking about an established brand that is sold throughout the world. We are talking about a quality range of tyres at competitive prices,” he continued.
COS Wholesale already has a small group of Westlake key dealers in place, which benefit from discounted prices, exclusive territories, marketing support and more, and Shane is keen to point out that these conditions will not change with the addition of more key dealers.
To support this network expansion, COS Wholesale will be investing in and supporting the Westlake dealer network with targeted sales, marketing and branding campaigns.
The company will also be investing in signage and point of sale material for key dealers.
“Our route to market is to give our key customers an area to market the Westlake brand of truck and OTR tyres, and to help them make profit and to establish themselves as the retailer for that product,” he concluded.
