Hankook revealed its new Smart Flex TH51 trailer tyre generation at IAA Transportation, offering higher mileage and lower rolling resistance compared with its predecessor.

Hankook and trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull have confirmed a multi-year agreement on original tyre equipment for trailers, which commenced on 1st July 2026.

Hankook has invested €540 million into the expansion of its European plant in Rácalmás, Hungary and will be producing truck and bus tyres in Europe for the first time from this October.

For the next three seasons, Hankook will become the official tyre supplier for the RC2, RC3 and RC4 classes in the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship.

Hankook is equipping the Porsche 911 Carrera with its tyres ex-works for the first time. After around 10 years as a Porsche OEM and extensive development work on the tyre, the car will be rolling off the production line on Hankook tyres bearing the “NA2” marking on the side wall.

Hankook, the exclusive tyre supplier to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), heads to Round 9 of the 2026 WRC, Delfi Rally Estonia, taking place from  16th to 19th July in Tartu and the surrounding southern regions of Estonia.
