Agrigear sponsored Chaiti of Haiti tractor now fully restored
Back in February, the Tyre Trade Journal reported that Agrigear, the Co. Cavan based tyre and wheels manufacturer and distributor had very generously sponsored new back and front tyres and wheels for a Ferguson 20 vintage tractor.
The tractor was being restored for the charity Child of Haiti. The charity was founded by Limerick-based Mayoman Joe Tierney and supported by a large group of people around the country.
The vintage tractor project has been undertaken by a Roscommon-based group including PJ Maher, Berney Higgins, John Higgins and Padraic Deane, of Automotive Publications to raise funds for their latest project in Haiti.
The tractor has now been fully restored and will be raffled on Saturday, January 7. Tickets €10 each. Book of 6 tickets for €50. Contact Padraic Deane on 090 66 25 676.
