Agrigear appoints McAdam as general manager

Agrigear has appointed Gerald McAdam as its new general manager, effective 8th June, reporting to Fred Clarke, managing director.

He will initially work alongside, before succeeding John McGauran who Agrigear says has been instrumental in the successful development of the business over the past 27 years.

McAdam brings over 25 years of experience across engineering, manufacturing, and service industries, both in Ireland and internationally.

With over 20 years’ leadership experience in operations and sales in the automotive, lift and escalator and construction product sectors, Agrigear says he brings a wealth of experience to the role.

“I am delighted to join Agrigear who has developed an outstanding reputation for innovative off-road tyre and wheel solutions over the past 46 years,” said McAdam.

“I look forward to being part of such a capable and successful team and to working closely with our OEM customers and nationwide dealer network, while also partnering with key suppliers.”

Agrigear said this appointment “confirms its long-term commitment to the continued development and strengthening of the Agrigear brand and business in providing tyre and wheel solutions for agricultural, industrial, construction and OTR sectors across Ireland”.
