Infinity displays tyres of the future at Brityrex 2012

At Brityrex 2012, Infinity Tyres will unveil the Ecomax and Ecosis as the newest members of its passenger tyre range at Brityrex International which takes place at EventCity, Manchester, October 9-11.

Thde Ecomax, the new UHP tyre range, and Ecosis, its high performance partner, will be available during late 2012 and early 2013.

Infinity has evaluated the tyres at several European test facilities, including IDIADA in Spain, to analyse performance characteristics in areas such as wet and dry braking distances, subjective handling and rolling resistance. The positive results of these tests position these new ranges at the same performance level as many of Europe’s premium tyre brands.

Infinity says Ecomax is the tyre of choice for ultra-high performance requirements. The tyre provides a winning combination of enhanced handling, precise cornering and offers excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions through its enhanced silica tread compound.

The Ecomax features wide longitudinal grooves for improved hydroplaning resistance and water evacuation. Its asymmetric tread design supports excellent dry handling and traction with constant performance at high speed. This new range has been augmented with improved shoulder profiles for excellent manoeuvrability and Ecomax’s computer-optimised pitch sequence reduces pattern noise and vehicle vibration as well as helping to minimise irregular tread wear.
Finally, Ecomax’s computer-optimised tread void ratio is intended to improve fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions – an increasingly important requirement in today’s economic climate.

The Ecosis is the ideal ‘all round’ tyre, designed to cope with a variety of road and weather conditions. It combines precise driving performance, passenger comfort and superior wet weather handling. Furthermore, as its name implies, it has exceptional ‘eco’ credentials which are supported by the incorporation of enhanced silica tread compounds.

The Ecosis features four longitudinal grooves of optimum width and positioning for rapid water dispersal. It has also been given an improved shoulder profile to ensure crisp handling response for a smooth and comfortable ride, as well as enhanced cornering and dry handling.

The model’s solid centre rib provides constant grip for improved acceleration and braking and optimum road and surface contact. Furthermore, the incorporation of the latest silica tread compound technology improves fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Enhanced silica compounding also offers outstanding wet handling and excellent hydroplaning control.
The model’s superb pressure and stress distribution helps minimise irregular wear and its computer-optimised pitch sequence ensures quieter running characteristics to enhance the driving experience.

A select group of tyre designers and engineers has spent the past 24 months ensuring these new products reach the highest performance standard. As with all Infinity passenger tyres, the new tyre models are fully compliant with European legislation as well as the forthcoming EU tyre labelling laws.

Chairman of the Al Dobowi Group, Mr. Surender Kandhari, will attend Brityrex to demonstrate his support for the introduction of Ecomax and Ecosis to the U.K. market. In anticipation of the upcoming show, Mr. Kandhari stated “Now is the time for Ecomax and Ecosis. Infinity has taken a momentous step forward and with the support and confidence of our partners across the U.K. and Europe, we have developed a truly first class product for them”.
