Nex Generation Tyres and Yokohama offer extensive truck tyre range
Nex Generation Tyres is the exclusive distributor of Yokohama truck tyres on the island of Ireland and carries a comprehensive range of patterns to meet practically every haulage application. The range is back-boned by three patterns: TY607 M+S Drive, 104ZR Steer and RY 357 Super Single.
TY607 M+S Drive
The TY607 M+S is engineered with the help of Yokohama’s advanced technologies for regional and long distance operation. The tyre features an extra deep design with a wide tread that provides long tread lift for regional service.
An aggressive block tread with lateral lug grooves delivers maximised wet traction, while the alternate block placement on the tyre enhances even wear.
Every new Yokohama truck radial product is designed and constructed for better retreadability and the TY607 M+S Drive is no exception. In addition, Yokohama casings are backed up by a special casing warranty. The tyre is also regroovable.
104ZR
The Yokohama 104ZR utilises the latest advances in tyre technology, and offers a compound, tread design and casing construction that delivers longer tread wear and low rolling resistance.
The 104ZR’s wide footprint allows for enhanced traction. Engineered through Yokohama’s Zenvironment® technology concept, the 104ZR offers an extended casing life, which reduces material, waste and costs. T
The 104ZR 315/80R22.5 is designed to deliver longer tread wear, low rolling resistance and enhanced traction. Equipped with Yokohama’s latest technology, this true workhorse is the ideal tyre for coach and regional/long-haul tour bus applications.
The 104 ZR features a 5-rib tread design with straight grooves that enhances even wear and wet traction.
Yokohama says a SC-SIPE (Stress-Wear Control Sipe) design improves abnormal wear on the rib edges. Newly-developed tread radii improves shoulder step-down wear.
The tyre also has newly-designed stone ejectors and wavy grooves minimise stone holding and penetration in ordinary regional operation.
The 104ZR also has a newly-developed tread compound using “Zenvironment” technology with an even deeper tread design, which provides longer mileage and better fuel economy. New casing compounds using “Zenvironment” technology extend the casing life for multi-retreads.
RY 357
The RY 357 t is designed for long haul / regional use tyre and is engineered primarily for the trailer axles. The RY357 delivers long mileage and shoulder wear resistance on trailer axle use.
