Klipboard appoints Tocher new chief customer support officer
Klipboard has appointed Chris Tocher as chief customer support officer, succeeding Chris Owen who steps down from his role to retire.
Tocher, who joined Klipboard in September 2025 in preparation for Owen’s retirement, now steps into the role of chief customer support officer, continuing Klipboard’s focus on delivering renowned support and services to its global customer base.

Since joining, Tocher has led Klipboard’s technical support, cloud hosting, managed services, professional services and client success teams.
With over 20 years of leadership experience spanning support, cloud and on-premise operations, service implementation, supply chain management and customer success for global enterprises, Klipboard says Tocher brings deep expertise to the role.
His career includes senior leadership positions at Cisco and IMImobile, most recently leading global client services and operations functions.
“I’m honoured to take on this role and to build on the incredible work that has been delivered over the years,” said Tocher. “Klipboard has a strong customer-first culture and I’m excited to continue developing our global support teams while ensuring our customers receive outstanding service at every stage of their journey.”
“Chris Owen’s impact on Klipboard cannot be overstated,” added Ian Bendelow, CEO at Klipboard. “His leadership, professionalism and genuine care for both customers and colleagues have shaped our global support operations. We thank him sincerely for his years of service and wish him all the best in his retirement. We now turn to the next phase of our evolution with Chris Tocher leading even more innovation and customer focus.”
