Nexen Tire meets 3PMSF requirements

Nexen Tire has announced that, in addition to the traditional M+S symbol (Mud and Snow), it has now met the 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) certification requirements for its winter tyres.

According to Nexen Tire, this change reflects the growing importance of tyres designed to meet the stringent demands of severe winter performance.

The 3PMSF symbol, found on Nexen’s winter and all-season tyres, signifies certified performance in winter conditions. Nexen Tire meets these tests for all of winter (Alpine) and all-season tyre models, specifically evaluating braking and traction, acceleration on medium-packed snow, ensuring better snow performance compared to tyres with M+S symbol.

All of Nexen’s tyres in the market for winter and all season met the requirements, including the Nexen Winguard Sport 2 and Nexen N Blue 4 Season 2. They are branded with the 3PMSF symbol, indicating superior traction on snow.
