Mitas AirCell has a premiere in Spain at FIMA fair

Mitas is set to exhibit AirCell, an unique inner tyre that enables the inflation of large agricultural tyres by +/- 1 bar (from 0.8 bar to 1.8 bar) within just half a minute at the FIMA fair in Zaragoza, Spain, February 16-20.

“Mitas AirCell was developed to reduce tyre filling waiting time, cut fuel costs, protect the soil, increase the life of the tyre and improve handling characteristics during on-road transportation, said Hans-Ulrich Klose, head of the automotive engineering unit at Mitas. “Mitas AirCell brings the advantage to farmers and contractors who need to change pressures quickly from low inflation during field work to higher pressure for better fuel efficiency during on-road transportation and vice versa.”

At its stand Mitas will also display Mitas Premium tyre range highlights. Radial agricultural tyres will be represented by Very High Flexion tyre VF 380/105R54 HC2000 which is designed for powerful tractors. When compared with a standard tyre, the VF tyre enables 40% more load. Product display will be completed with Super Flexion Tyre size 900/60R42 SFT and AGRITERRA 02 flotation tyre size 850/50R30.5 IMP.

Cultor brand will be represented by radial agricultural tyre 650/65R42 RD-03 which is designed for gentle ground handling and higher load capacity. These features are enabled by their wide design and large volume of air of Cultor RD-03

Introduction of Mitas HCM (High Capacity Municipal) tyres for urban use will be another premiere on the Spanish market. At its stand in hall 6 Mitas will display new municipal tyre 540/80R38 HCM which is a versatile tyre that can be fitted on agricultural and industrial tractors, handlers, loaders, etc. and is also suitable for agricultural, municipal, construction, forestry, etc. applications.
