ITIA re-emphasises commitment to fit for purpose compliance scheme

The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) has noted Environment Minister, Alan Kelly’s comments in a statement issued to TyreTrade.ie earlier this week and has re-emphasised its commitment to a fit for purpose compliance scheme.

ITIA CEO, Percy Foster told TyreTrade.ie this morning: “The ITIA is committed to a fit for purpose compliance scheme underpinned by a full regulatory impact assessment (RIA).” He added: “A RIA typically examines proposed legislative changes to assess the financial impacts on businesses.”
