A Christmas tree with a difference

Hats off to the guys at TyreAware.ie in Ballinderreen on the N67 in Galway for coming up with this unique Christmas tree that is built with waste tyres.

TyreAware.ie offers a mobile fitting service for convenient tyre fitting for people whilst they are at work or at home. The company also offers a 7 day a week service for tyre related breakdowns for the retail sector.

James Hastings of TyreAware.ie commented: “We have built what we think is the first Christmas tyre tree in the country by using old tyres, a little paint and a few lights. It started out as a bit of a crazy idea but turned into something that is getting a great local reaction.”

Meanwhile, TyreAware.ie is currently working with a number of local charities and schools to”try and give something back to the local communities that keep us in business.”

TyreAware.ie is currently donating €2 (to one of six designated charities) for every tyre fitted. “All you need to do is buy your tyres from TyreAware.ie and display the car sticker, that’s fitted and supplied by us, with the logos of our designated charities,” James explained.
