Yokohama new official tyre supplier of BMW M Motorsport

Yokohama Rubber has signed an official tyre supplier agreement with BMW M Motorsport, commencing with the 2026 Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS).

Yokohama Rubber previously partnered with BMW M Motorsport at Nürburgring 24-Hour races from 1980 to 1990, winning two overall championships in that time.

After a hiatus of almost 40 years, the two are teaming up again this season and will be competing in the top SP9 class with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car.

Yokohama Rubber will supply its Advan racing tyres and aim for another overall championship.

In addition to this new partnership with BMW M Motorsport, Yokohama Rubber will be supplying tyres to several top teams participating in this season’s Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and the NLS, and aims to secure another overall championship for a car running on Yokohama tyres.
