Yokohama confirms MK Dons sponsorship
Yokohama has confirmed that it will continue its successful partnership with the MK Dons football club. 2014/15 will mark the eighth season that the company has supported the League One club.
The continued partnership sees Yokohama pitchside and big screen branding at the impressive 30,000-seat Stadium:mk as well as corporate seating at home fixtures and use of the stadiums facilities. The seats in both the home and away ‘dug-outs’ also bear the Japanese manufacturers name.
This season has already got off to a great start: the Dons toppled Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United team in the 2nd round of the Capital One Cup, on Tuesday night beating the visiting side 4-0 and raising eyebrows throughout the football and sporting communities around the world.

Commenting, Yokohama HPT Managing Director David Seward, said; “The club is growing in stature each year and the recently completed Stadium:mk is one of the best sporting arenas in the country. I am delighted that we will be supporting our local MK Dons for the eighth consecutive season.”
The 3rd round of the Capital One Cup is on Tuesday 23rd September, where the MK Dons will face Bradford City at home.
