{"id":8532,"date":"2014-06-12T15:53:34","date_gmt":"2014-06-12T14:53:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=8532"},"modified":"2014-06-12T15:53:34","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T14:53:34","slug":"apollo-tyres-introduces-apollo-alnac-4g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/apollo-tyres-introduces-apollo-alnac-4g\/8532","title":{"rendered":"Apollo Tyres introduces Apollo Alnac 4G"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Looking to increase its presence in Europe, tyre major, Apollo Tyres has introduced two new tyres \u2013 the Alnac 4G All Season and Alnac 4G Winter tyre, which adds to the existing range of Alnac 4G tyres being sold in Europe.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Both tyres were developed in Apollo Tyres\u2019 Global R&amp;D Centre in the Netherlands and have been optimised to suit the requirements of European drivers and the European road network.<\/p>\n<p>Apollo Alnac 4G All Season<br \/>\nThe Apollo Alnac 4G All Season has been designed to suit the requirement of people who do not wish to switch between summer and winter tyres, yet would like to be assured of optimal safety in all seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The asymmetric shape of the outer longitudinal groove gives extra stability when driving, while the optimised stitch pattern of the shoulder blocks of the tyre ensures low sound levels. The variable groove depth contributes to an even wear pattern and a longer tyre lifespan.<\/p>\n<p>The reduced tyre weight offers a low rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on fuel efficiency, the environment and the wallet. The combination of straight sipes in the central part and flattened sinus sipes on the shoulders contributes to excellent handling on straight roads and round bends. The Apollo Alnac 4G Winter also performs well when it comes to accelerating and braking on snow and ice.<\/p>\n<p>The tread includes a handy tool for drivers &#8212; the unique Apollo Winter Tyre Wear Indicator. When the indicator changes its shape from a snowflake to a sun, this means that the official minimum tread depth for winter tyres of 4 mm has been reached. The tyre provides superior grip and low sound levels, which translates into maximum safety and comfort.
