The scheme was initiated to give tyre retailers a chance to highlight to the motoring public that they place safety at the core of their business.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/licensing-will-improve-standards-farrell\/6676\/itia-sign-copy\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6677\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6677\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/ITIA-sign-copy.jpg\" alt=\"ITIA-sign-copy\" width=\"615\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/ITIA-sign-copy.jpg 615w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/ITIA-sign-copy-300x110.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nTo date 74 ITIA member outlets have now been granted a license. Licensed outlets sign up to work to industry best practice in tyre repairs. They must also undertake not to be involved in the distribution or sale of part worn tyres.<\/p>\n<p>The License programme was initiated following a call from retail members for regulation in this sector.
