Kings Road Tyres (KRT), the exclusive Irish distributor of fast-growing truck and bus tyre manufacturer Aeolus, has reported a positive and constructive response from tyre buyers at the recent CV Show at Birmingham\u2019s NEC.<\/p>\n

\"Aeolus-Logo-(New)-copy\"<\/a>Peter Dempsey, KRT Director for Ireland, commented: \u201cOver the past 10 years Aeolus has created a strong name for itself in the commercial truck and bus sector by creating a distinct price and quality position. In practice that means supplying products that perform to consistently high standards in demanding operating environments and that are priced realistically to provide both dealers and end users with an attractive return.\u201d<\/p>\n

By exhibiting its full range of truck, bus and coach tyres at the show, KRT was able to demonstrate the quality of the Aeolus product and its suitability for both retreading and regrooving. These important qualities add to the overall lifecycle value for end users and are a distinctive point of difference to other budget suppliers in the sector.<\/p>\n

Researchers and tyre designers at Aeolus have also factored in additional qualities such as driver comfort into their latest products. All front wheel truck applications undergo dynamic balance testing and X-ray assessment, before leaving the factory.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was great to talk to so many tyre buyers at the show; there are definite signs of an improving market for truck and bus operators as the Irish economy continues to improve.
