However, in freezing weather conditions or during snowfall, special winter tyres clearly provide better traction and greater safety.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Continental&#8217;s range of winter tyres for trucks, trailers, semitrailers, and buses are positive proof that optimal traction and cost-efficient levels of fuel consumption do not have to be polar opposites. With a particularly densely designed tread geometry and a softer tread compound which increases the adhesion strength of the tyres to the road, these special winter tyres are a distinct advantage when it comes to staying mobile and safe on the roads at winter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/continental-has-winter-all-wrapped-up\/6356\/continental-tyres\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6357\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6357\" alt=\"Continental tyres\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Continental-tyres.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Continental-tyres.jpg 460w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Continental-tyres-120x80.jpg 120w, https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Continental-tyres-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Continental winter tyres significantly exceed the legal requirements that apply to the M + S (Mud and Snow) symbol.
