Bridgestone is pushing back the boundaries of performance and tyre life with the R168PLUS, offering vastly superior tear resistance, lower rolling resistance and longer tyre life.

\"R168PLUS_small\"<\/a>\u201cThe new R168PLUS delivers what fleets in regional operations need most today: high casing durability and great mileage potential to reduce Total Tyre Life costs, combined with lower rolling resistance to reduce fuel costs\u201d says Harald Van Ooteghem, Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing Planning, Bridgestone Europe.<\/p>\n

The need for ever-better cost per kilometre performance guided Bridgestone engineers to develop a tyre that is extremely durable, thanks to the high-performance compound and a robust casing construction. The latest reinforced compound technology was integrated in the new R168PLUS, delivering better performance and improved tear resistance. A wider top belt provides better protection against penetrations while the special tread design helps to avoid stone retention and has high resistance against chunking.<\/p>\n

The R168PLUS features a robust casing construction, making it ideal for use within a \u201cmultiple lives\u201d concept \u2013 Total Tyre Life by Bridgestone \u2013 with advanced Bandag R168 retreads. This premium Bandag retread not only looks like the new tyre, but also offers outstanding levels of quality, reliability and mileage performance, similar to those of original Bridgestone tyres.<\/p>\n

The R168PLUS in size 385\/65R22.5 will be available for the replacement and original equipment markets as of October 1st.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
