The 112th edition of the famous Tour de France starts in Lille on 5th July, and once again welcomes Continental as its main sponsor and tyre supplier of selected race teams as well as the official support and supply vehicles in 2025.<\/p>\n

This year, for the first time, the tyre manufacturer will also exclusively equip the organiser’s official support motorcycles with ContiRoadAttack 4 tyres in sizes 120\/70 R 17 and 180\/55 R 17.<\/p>\n

“The Tour de France provides us with an excellent platform to showcase the performance and sustainability of our products to an international audience,” said Egemen At\u0131\u015f, head of strategy, analytics and marketing at Continental Tires EMEA.<\/p>\n

“This year, not only seven top cycling teams are using our tyres, but we are also equipping more than 70 official support vehicles with the UltraContact NXT, our most sustainable car tyre. In this way, we are making an important contribution to ensuring the Tour is both safe and environmentally friendly.”<\/p>\n

The UltraContact NXT which was already successfully used last year, has a share of up to 65 per cent renewable, recycled and ISCC PLUS mass balance certified materials. It combines a high proportion of sustainable components with maximum safety and performance: all available sizes of the UltraContact NXT have received the EU tyre label’s highest rating in the categories of rolling resistance, wet grip and external noise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
