Turkish tyre manufacturer Petlas, used Autopromotec 2025 in Italy to launch its newly expanded range of Starmaxx off-road tyres, which are available in Ireland exclusively through Kevin Burke Tyres.<\/p>\n

The new Starmaxx Mountterra A\/T for all-terrain use and Starmaxx Mountterra M\/T for mud-terrain conditions, have both been developed to meet the performance and durability requirements of drivers operating across diverse road conditions and varying climates.<\/p>\n

Kevin Burke, owner of Kevin Burke Tyres said: “We\u2019re proud to be the exclusive Irish distributor for the newly launched Starmaxx off-road range from Petlas, unveiled at Autopromotec 2025.<\/p>\n

The Mountterra A\/T is designed for optimal balance between off-road traction and on-road drivability. Its tread pattern ensures grip on off-road terrain including mud, dirt, and gravel, while maintaining low in-cabin noice and riding comfort on asphalt. The tyre is certified with the 3PMS (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) symbol, indicating its capability in severe snow conditions.<\/p>\n

Suitable for both off-road use and daily driving, Petlas says this tyre is aimed at users requiring a tyre that can transition smoothly between daily road use and recreational off-road driving.<\/p>\n

The Mountterra M\/T is a mud-terrain tyre developed for consistent performance in off-road environments. With large tread blocks and deep voids, it offers strong self-cleaning properties and high traction in mud, clay, and rocky terrain. Its reinforced carcass enhances protection against external damage and supports extended usage in aggressive conditions.<\/p>\n

While primarily designed for off-road use, Petlas says the new Mountterra M\/T maintains acceptable levels of comfort and stability on road conditions.<\/p>\n
