<\/p>\nYokohama Rubber has launched a new ultra high-performance winter tyre into the aftermarket, which has been specifically designed and approved for the Mercedes-AMG E-Class.<\/p>\n
The new Advan Winter V907 is the first new winter tyre to be added to Yokohama Rubber\u2019s Advan brand in 17 years, and will initially be available in sizes 245\/45R19 102V for the front and 275\/40R19 105V for the rear.<\/p>\n
Yokohama Rubber says it also plans to develop a replacement tyre based on the same Advan Winter V907 tyre in a wider range of size, which would be available from some point in 2025.<\/p>\n

Jointly developed with Mercedes-AMG, the new tyre\u2019s specially designed tread pattern features the V-shaped grooves and 3D sipes that Yokohama Rubber says contribute to the excellent snow performance of its previously developed winter tyres, as well as a centre rib that enhances handling stability on dry roads.<\/p>\n
The tyre\u2019s tread compound also contributes to its dual performance by combining a cap compound (upper layer of rubber in the tyre tread) that provides excellent snow performance with an undertread compound (rubber layer in tyre\u2019s core) that contributes to handling stability on dry roads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
