Continental has secured a treble of original equipment approvals from Porsche for the latest Panamera. The sports saloon will be factory-equipped with the 21-inch SportContact 7 tyre for sporty driving, the21-inch all-season ProContact RX for good handling on dry and wet roads, and the 19- and 21-inch WinterContact TS 860 S for the colder winter months.<\/p>\n

The SportContact 7 is a high-performance tyre for sporty driving. In numerous independent national and international tyre tests, it has impressed with its excellent handling characteristics and short braking distances than its predecessor. It has been approved for speeds above 300 km\/h, and bears an extra load “XL” index for heavy-weight.<\/p>\n

The SportContact 7 tyre will be fitted to the Porsche Panamera in sizes 275\/35 ZR21 (103Y) XL FR and 325\/30 ZR21 (108Y) XL FR.<\/p>\n

The ProContact RX is an all-season touring tyre that focuses on grip and braking performance on dry and wet roads. The precise steering response paves the way for excellent handling. The rubber compound ensures a smooth ride and low noise level. It will be fitted to the Porsche Panamera in sizes 275\/35 R21 103V XL FR and 325\/30 R21 108V XL FR.<\/p>\n

For the winter tyre, Continental offers the WinterContact TS 860 S, which is available from Porsche dealers and specialist tyre retailers. For the Panamera, it has been approved in 19- and 21-inch sizes from Continental; 265\/45 R19 105V XL FR, 295\/40 R19 108V XL FR, HL275\/35 R21 105V XL FR, and HL315\/30 R21 109V XL FR.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
