{"id":34241,"date":"2023-03-06T13:46:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T12:46:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/?p=34241"},"modified":"2023-03-06T13:46:54","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T12:46:54","slug":"continental-adds-seven-more-tiger-trailers-to-fleet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tyretrade.ie\/index.php\/continental-adds-seven-more-tiger-trailers-to-fleet\/34241","title":{"rendered":"Continental adds seven more Tiger Trailers to fleet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tyre manufacturer Continental has added to its UK distribution fleet through the addition of seven more box vans from Tiger Trailers<!--more-->, with this particular order divided into two different products to suit its operational requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The tyre firm\u2019s first Tiger order for 2023 is comprised of five 4.2m high box van trailers for its next day regional truck tyre delivery and casing collection business, and a pair of 4.8m tall \u2018high cube\u2019 variants, equipping Continental with increased load capacity for inter-depot trunking and waste recycling activities.<\/p>\n<p>Continental\u2019s new standard-height 4,200mm trailers are fitted with an LED strip-light facing down at the rear to light up the working area for operator safety, and with cycle warning sideguards.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40241\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cvworkshop.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/tiger_trailers_continental_press_release_2023.02_-_photo_large.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"810\" height=\"503\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The trailers\u2019 specification also includes a GRP translucent roof with wooden rub rails, a bespoke load securing setup including nets, an Anteo 1,500kg tuckaway tail-lift with safety gates, and solar panels from Trailar.<\/p>\n<p>The 4,800mm high-cube iterations are equipped with full aerodynamic sideguards to reduce CO2 and increase fuel efficiency, and the trailers and their cargos are protected from damage through the incorporation of full-coverage overlay floor tread plates and full-length wooden rub rails fitted below and above each load lock row.<\/p>\n<p>Both heights are finished with the international company\u2019s ultra-distinctive livery and are fitted with its in-house tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) interfaced into the ContiConnect 2.0 web-based platform for safety and efficiency purposes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tyre manufacturer Continental has added to its UK distribution fleet through the addition of seven more box vans from Tiger Trailers<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":105,"featured_media":34242,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-34241","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-continental","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.5 -
